Terms of Service

Plain language, short clauses. The short version: Hearth is an AI companion for adults, not medical care; pay monthly, cancel any time, access runs to the end of the period.

1

Who we are

Hearth is operated by EKO SOLAR LLC, Stone Mountain, Georgia, United States. These terms cover your use of the Hearth website and service. By creating an account you agree to them.

2

You must be 18 or older

Hearth is for adults only. You confirm at sign-up that you are 18 or older, and we may close accounts that turn out not to be. Hearth is not designed for minors and we don't knowingly collect their data.

3

What Hearth is — and is not

Hearth is an AI companion for talking things out and hearing yourself think. It is software, not a person, and it will tell you so.

Hearth is not medical care

Hearth does not provide medical or clinical care of any kind. It does not diagnose, it does not give medical or medication advice, and nothing it says is professional advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional, and it is not an emergency service.

If you are in crisis, contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 (US, 24/7), text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line, or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.

4

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself — conversations on your account are private to it, and anyone with your password can read them. Tell us at support@hearth.app if you think someone else has access.

5

Billing

The free tier includes 3 conversations, total. The Founding Member plan is $19 a month, billed through Square, and that price is locked for as long as you keep the subscription. Payments renew automatically each month until you cancel.

"Unlimited" conversations are subject to a fair-use cap of 150 messages a day — generous for a person, a wall for a script. We may adjust the cap with notice; we won't adjust your price.

6

Cancellation and refunds

No partial refunds

Cancel any time, in two clicks, from Plan & billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't issue refunds for the remaining days.

7

Your words are yours

You own what you say. We store your conversations, notes, and memory summary only to run the service for you — never to sell, share, or train models on. You can export or delete everything from the Your data page. The details live in the Privacy Policy.

8

Acceptable use

Don't use Hearth for anything illegal, and don't rely on it in an emergency. The specifics are in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.

9

Service and liability

We aim to keep Hearth running all the time, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Hearth is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you've paid us in the last twelve months.

10

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. Using Hearth after that means you accept the new version. If you don't, cancel and your access runs out with the period.
