Hearth is a private place for adults to talk things out. The rules are short because the product is simple.

Use it for what it's for
Hearth exists for personal reflection — talking through your day, your relationships, your decisions, the things you keep circling. Use it honestly and it will serve you well.
Not for emergencies
Do not rely on Hearth in a crisis
Hearth is not an emergency service and must not be used as one. If you or someone near you is in danger, call or text 988, text HOME to 741741, or call 911. Hearth will point you to those resources, but it cannot send help.
No illegal use
Don't use Hearth to plan, facilitate, or conceal anything illegal, or to harass or harm another person. We may suspend accounts that do.
No scraping or automation
The fair-use message cap exists so every member gets a responsive companion. Don't script against the service, resell access, or use it as an API backend.
Adults only
Hearth is 18+. Don't create an account for a minor or let one use yours.
